Is anyone having payment problems with Hiddenserv?

Offline
For the past week I have been trying to pay my invoice with Hiddenserv. I tried multiple credit cards and I keep getting the same message 'The credit card details you entered were declined. Please try a different card or contact support.'

I opened several tickets but have not received a response. It has been over a week since I submitted my ticket. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Yes same here

This is the same situation that appeared about two months ago, and it took them weeks to get it cleared up. Keep trying. Keep opening tickets.

Tried to pay bill yesterday weds and all cards have been declined. Also tried BTC and still in limbo. Does anyone have any info on alternative?

I paid my Gamers bill via PDS two weeks ago, so I can't comment on Hiddenserv, not that there is necessarily any difference. Just keep trying, opening tickets, and keep your fingers crossed 🤞that your service doesn't get cut off. There really isn't much else you can do

I was having trouble using chrome browser. I tried 5 different cards to pay and it kept giving me a message transaction failure.
Then I switched to Microsoft edge browser and payment went through. I hope this helps someone.

Good information. I recall that during the previous failure, I might have switched from Chrome to Safari on a Mac, and it worked. Frankly, I can't remember. Perhaps it was/is a cookie issue. Good find if it is. (or coincidence)
Others, please advise if this works for you.

I have tried multiple cards and 3 web browsers. Safari, Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Same payment error. I have 4 tickets submitted for over a week. No response to any of them.

I’ve been with them since the beginning (The Players Club days). No idea what other service to go with. Ideas?

I'm not surprised. As I said, the browser change could have been a coincidence or just the luck of getting in. Hopefully, you won't have service terminated, but with them, you never know. I suggest, as I have for others, look through the many providers in the Husham Forum IPTV Provider section. Some have free trials, some have a one-month minimum. Try before you buy.

You’re right, probably time to look into other options. So many options make it hard to tell what’s worth a look. So many options have “reviews” that are obviously bots on other websites. Was considering trying the svenordium service listed here. Do the trial then month to month for a bit.

Endless options, with endless resellers and fake reviews, make choosing difficult. As Husham runs a pretty tight ship here, you should get a good sense of the product from the comments. A free trial helps. Some are one day, and I've seen a three-day. One month minimum is good at first. Buying a one-month or three-month plan might seem expensive at first, but it's better than committing to a year on a sub that turns into a dud. Find something you like as your primary service, and find a backup service that isn't a mirror of your main service. A service that promotes 99.9% uptime might not be telling the truth.

As for payment issue with hiddenserv, what I found worked and has happen before is to delete your saved card info, log out. Log back in and re enter your card info under payment method and save. When you reach the payment portal and submit payment, it will say "submitting", click again and payment goes through. My experience. Cheers

Anyone have any luck yet? I’ve got multiple tickets open with them. I’ve cleared all my CCs from my account so they don’t try to charge me extra for anything. This is beyond frustrating. Feels like every couple of months something breaks and they’re nowhere to be found.

It is a repeat of the situation a couple of months ago that took weeks to clear. There have been many suggestions to get around the problem. Notably:
If you are struggling to pay an invoice or add a card, the most successful "path of least resistance" reported by the community is:

  1. Switch to a PC/Desktop rather than a mobile device or TV box.
  2. Turn OFF your VPN entirely for the duration of the payment.
  3. Open an Incognito window to bypass any cached data.
  4. If credit cards continue to fail, check the portal for Bitcoin/Crypto options, which many providers are moving toward as a more stable (though less convenient) alternative.

Unfortunately those did not work for me :(
No, I'm afraid there are no guarantees with this. At best, their site is difficult to navigate, and it appears that any success of late is accidental. You need a backup service, or rather a primary service.

Do you have any recommendations? I’m grandfathered in with 4 connections for $10 / month which is really nice. Not really sure where to start? Mostly use it for sports

I've had mine for ages, as it's morphed from one name to the next, and it's more/less spiraled down over time. I'm not here to discourage or chase people away from Gamers or whatever name people are subscribed to through whatever portal. But it's crap. No Series, No VOD. I pay $5/month, and that's still $60/year for two connections. Maybe it's an okay backup, maybe not. I just keep paying because there's an illusion of being cheap. If you check the competition, there are some good prices and quality service. You get what you pay for. Check the @Husham Forum IPTV Company List - Personally, as you ask, I use Mobus. I have for years now. @Oddballs busts his ass to keep that service up and running and offer what people want. - Be clear, I might be 'staff', but you have my word I am paying for my service, and I'm paying exactly what you will pay. In fact, there have been occasional discounts, and I haven't capitalized on them. So go through the providers, see what people are saying. This site should be spam-free, and no bots should be making comments. There are some free trials. Some have a one-month minimum.

Anyone able to get their payment to go through yet.
I imagine when it's truly "fixed," you'll hear and or would have gotten through yourself. Keep trying.
