I have a year sub that expires tomorrow. So I would like to purchase a lifetime version but can't find how to do it. Can someone advise?

Go to the Google Play Store and cancel your current sub before it renews. You will then be able to purchase the lifetime sub once the yearly expires.

Have to say it is pretty confusing.

You won’t be able to purchase the lifetime until the yearly expires 1st if you are using the same Gmail email. If you don’t cancel before it expires..it will charge you for another year so cancel it now. Your premium will continue to work until it expires. Then the option to purchase the lifetime will become available to you.
