CAN THEY NOT JUST SEND AN UPDATE OUT?!

Can the owners/support not just send out an update/bulletin/email?! Just letting us know if they are working on it/ending the service/ whatever it may be?! Someone on this forum must have an inside connection that can get through to somebody?! Or can't they just comp the service until it's back up??! What do they have to loose besides ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS.

It's a bit difficult to discern just what this post means. It is in the PDS section, and I'm guessing you're having either a problem with the pay site or the service itself (or both). I can only answer that both the pay site and the service itself are both working.

Hiddenserv payment system.
 
I've been trying to pay hidden server for 10 days now, no luck, service was just terminated last night. Been paying 5 bucks a month for the last 10 years or so. No response at all from them. So, hasta la vista baby, moving on to a different server.

I gather from other subscribers that they are having success paying with crypto, if that's an option for your.

It seems to me that I only started hearing about Hiddenserve in the past few months, of course, for all the wrong reasons, quite a bit in the past few weeks. The thing that I don't quite get is, unless I'm wrong, it is not listed here on the @husham forums as a provider and never was. So, where did everyone latch onto this service, assuming it wasn't here, and that being the case, how does it come to be a topic of discussion from so many not being serviced? I think I know what it is, or was, and has it just become a failed service, and now, for those getting payment made with crypto, just a money grab? I'd like to be of some help, but I'm still filling in the blanks. I can't tell you what to do. Personally, I've been with Mobus for some time. @Oddballs works very hard to keep that system up and running, but there is no real 99.99% uptime as some advertise, which is why we need a backup. [Full disclosure: I do not work for the forum, nor do I receive any remuneration of any kind from anyone. I pay full price for my service, same as you will. I'm just one of Santa's helpers.

I'm pretty sure Hidden server is just the payment portal for Pdslive that some of us were switched to a number of years ago. It was TPKShield, then TDN, and before that I can't say, cause those invoices disappeared in 2019 when there was a provider split. In any case, actually communicating with someone on their end ceased for me in 2020, but service and billing continued properly right up till this year.

I can't say that makes sense or not; however, the product seems (from what I'm seeing) different from any iteration of the Gamers/PDS. They seem to offer more than Gamers and their previous lives, so what is it? I personally believe it's a reseller that has managed to add some other pieces that Gamers for example, never had and don't. Therefore, 'hidden' and 'pds' have in principle nothing to do with one another.

Hiddenserv is PDSLive / Top Dog / PlayersKlub / Gamers, just under a different payment portal. After payment portal shutdowns over the years a lot of people were sent to hiddenserv from what I've heard, they used it since it was called Top Dog / Players Klub. It has been a 99% uptime for the 6 years I've been using it and 10+ for others I know that have been using it. Very few channels have had issues over that time for me and I watch a wide range from movies, 24/7, USA cable, UK / Canada / USA sports channels, etc.. I think I can count on one hand the amount of days the service has actually been completely down during the time I've used it.

This is the correct answer. PDS and Hiddenserve are the same. There is no difference in service. It is a payment portal that split off of Game Masters after they had a major crash years ago. The plus is Hiddenserv is a bit cheaper for new subs.

Thanks. I didn't think so, although someone indicated they did, which confused me and made it nothing like Gamers. This makes sense, although I don't understand the 'split'.

I think, and could be wrong, a reseller branched off and somehow started streaming and lobbying others to follow. I stayed as did many others. There wasn't near as many options as there is now for the service.
