I have recently switched my internet from Xfinity cable to ATT fiber. After allowing Aurora through the firewall with the ATT SmartHome app I obtained access to the Aurora system. Most streaming channels work fine, but some don’t work at all. The main one in question is USA Sports Marquee, some others are in the USA kids channels. All channels worked on the Xfinity internet. A similar Verizon 5G internet works for all channels. A I3 internet has the same issues as my ATT internet.
I have been in the NOKIA BGW320 505 modem/router and turned off the firewall and played with other options. I have not set it up as a pass through to another router. I have split the WI-Fi as a 5G and 2.4G with separate SSID. I have also activated the Guest 2.4G SSID.
Now the strange thing. Neither the 5G or 2.4G solve the problem. The buffer circle goes round and round using the EXO player. If I use the VLC player ( vlc is installed as an app) the buffer circle stops and the screen goes blank. If I use the Guest 2.4G SSID (in the amazon stick) all the channels work. The obvious is to use the Guest SSID but that doesn't resolve my Amazon Cube which is connected via a Ethernet cable.
Any ideas? Suggestions? Help for ATT and I3 internet provides. Its got to be in the Modem/Router somewhere right? Hey thanks for reading this and for any comments you may have.
