Is anyone having payment problems with Hiddenserv?

Hey everyone. I have the same issue with payment via cards. Switched payment option to crypto and paid with Bitcoin. Payment went through and service was restored.
Is there a way to do this through like Paypal?
Whenever I select this option they give me a QR code.......I scan the QR code and it opens Coinbase I think it is but then doesn't load.

EDIT: Nvm Paid with Bitcoin using Strike and it went through.

Somewhat annoying but it is what it is lol

I can confirm that you can pay via Bitcoin. I bought BTC through Cash App. There is a $2 fee.
Another confirmation of BTC going through. So many providers are now exclusively accepting crypto payments. If this is the direction they've gone, it defies imagination that people were not properly notified. Thanks to those reporting payment success.

Has Anyone lost their service due to not being able to pay earlier. Mine says it’s no longer available and I’ve been trying to pay by credit card for a month.

I have been trying to pay my invoice since last Saturday 5/23/26. My card keeps being denied, I tied entering 2 new cards to make the payment and they were denied too. I am hopeing this gets cleared a.s.a.p. I don't want to loose my service.

I understand that people are having success paying with crypto, if that's an option for you.

I'm also still having issues trying to pay Hiddenserv. I also have PDSLive as a backup, which I understand is basically the same thing. That works for me just fine because when one is down the other isn't and that means no change in what I can see.

I'm assuming that in the past, if one was down, so was the other, although you say not the case. That could happen, of course. I also have the understanding that Hiddenserv actually offered more with their product, and I'm guessing Hiddenserv is/was a reseller, and appears now to have gone to crypto payment, yet a comment indicated that after a payment, they still have no service. Everyone here is somewhat in the dark about this and wonders how people were drawn to this forum if HS never had a presence here. A mystery. Plenty of services to choose from here.

For the past week I have been trying to pay my invoice with Hiddenserv. I tried multiple credit cards and I keep getting the same message 'The credit card details you entered were declined. Please try a different card or contact support.'

I opened several tickets but have not received a response. It has been over a week since I submitted my ticket. Is anyone else having the same problem?
Same issues. My subscription expires today. Hope we will have some support soon.

Good luck. Mix reports indicate payment made, either validated or some say still no service. Hard to know what's going on.

Please note - I had a problem paying via crypto with Paypal as I only wanted to do a one month trial. Paypal requires a minimum .001 BTC for transfer to external wallets which is ~$75 at the moment. This experiment with using Paypal to pay with BTC has been a painful one. Use another app / service and save yourself a headache.

Seems like they switched to just crypto payment to avoid having an easy tracking of payments (legality wise). Time to start searching for another service that can offer similar channels. Hiddenserv $7/2 connections has been an insanely reliable and cheap service for years but seemingly has been on a down-turn the last few months.

Yeah I tried Paypal. Ran into the same issue.

I had success with the Strike app.

FWIW I have both PDS and Hiddenserv. I had 2 different accounts with TPK originally and they changed one over to PDS and one to Hiddenserv. I submitted a ticket to Hiddenserv and did not receive a response. I submitted a separate ticket to PDS asking if they had any info or could help and received this response:

i do not know what the status is on the sister site. the owner over there is not responding to our request to fix his portal

Thank You for your support!

I've tried pretty much everyday for the past couple weeks to pay via credit card and keep getting the same error. I finally tried bitcoin with Venmo the last couple days and keep getting an error.

I think I'm going to try using Strike next to pay with Bitcoin

Had same problem using multiple browsers still no luck. Finally went to payment portal and entered new name and address with same payment method and payment went through.

@DBlock9 - Thanks, that was an interesting reply and to some extent explains the relationship (or lack thereof) between the two. I had suspected all along that Hiddenserve was a reseller for PDS, but that reference to 'sister', 'owner', 'his portal' is interesting.
As far as using crypto to pay, here too I read on these forums mixed reports of people making payment and presumably with success, others making payment with crypto and no service. So is this now a money grab for them? I can't say obviously, but after reading about this for some time now, I personally would not be trying to hang on. No matter how cheap it is, it's not a great deal by comparison to others for what you get.

Question...what is Strike? Is that a APK service? Please let me know. Thank you.

I just paid my service through coinbase, is now active. Coinbase does have a fee, 3$. It worked, just to let everyone know. Cheers

How exactly did you do it? Any help will be apprwciated
You’ll need to download the Cash App first and complete the standard identity verification (KYC) process. Once your account is set up, you can purchase Bitcoin through the app. For example, I purchased about $10 worth of Bitcoin.

After the Bitcoin is available in your Cash App account, go back to Hiddenserv and select the option to pay with BTC. A QR code should appear. Open Cash App, choose the Bitcoin send option, scan the QR code, and complete the payment.

Hope this helps!

Strike is a service where you can buy/sell and make payments of Bitcoin. They have both Apple and Android apps
Just wanted to confirm that I was able to pay my invoice with Bitcoin through the Strike app. My service has been expired for about a week and was immediately restored after paying.

Good to hear. I'm hearing good things for those willing to switch to BTC. Still baffling to me as an observer that no one was notified that apparently they're no longer accepting CC. Well, that's the IPTV biz for you.

just curious, how long did it take for the service to become active again? i sent money through coinbase yesterday. the QR code didn't work, so i sent it through a link attached with the QR code. My account was debited, but the invoice is still active on hiddenserv.

It was active withing 10-15 mins at most. After payment went through, mine reactivated right away. When it asked for the name, code to send payment to, did you copy the code and paste on the coinbase site?

yes, i copy and pasted. It was like a 30 digit numbers/letters code. i actually didn't check on my tv if it worked, i just noticed that the invoice says it is still open and not paid.
strange that the QR code didn't work. it just went to a blank screen every time

Strange. Check to see if your account is live. If your transfer went through and it should automatically say paid. How long was it when you sent payment?

i find it strange that they'll still process bitcoin payments but cant put out a single statement saying that they are having CC payment issues. it's been over a month now, so they must be losing out on a ton of payments now.

Ya it is, they should have sent a wide ticket on the issue. Has happen before a few yrs back, same issue. Bitcoin payment was the solution and as mentioned, I've always used coinbase. Hopefully it get active if payment did go through. 12 hrs is quite a long time tho.

If people are able to pay through Coinbase bitcoin, can someone tell me how you did it??? I am sure you would need to know their BTC Wallet address, which I cannot find on their website.

When your in the payment portal, click pay now. When the screen switches, at the bottom will say payment method. Usually says card. Click that and you'll seen btc pay. Click pay and a qr code will appear and copy that code.

Okay, I seen the Bitcoin link, but how to I purchase $15 in bitcoin??? I don't have a bitcoin account. When I click on the link...nothing happens. I would have to open a Coinbase account and buy the bitcoin then send it to that address. Is that what is needed now????

Yes thats what needs to be done. Create a coinbase account, once its created, need to buy bitcoin. Do the exchange rate to what works for you. Once about to pay, copy the link and add to the payment address.

@11Dion420 I'm curious. Last time I used Coinbase to pay for a sub, I had to ransom my firstborn buying BTC using BofA, paying for the sub, getting hit both ways. Have they adjusted the fees to today's reality with competition? I know I can use PayPal at seemingly reasonable rates, not sure of the minimum. So, for example, if you're buying $100 of BTC using your bank to pay for a sub, what can you expect the fees to come to 'round turn' in and out? Thanks

Interesting.. honestly I have used coinbase cdn for payment. As of last month, was only a 1$ Cdn. With exchange, for ex: 20 for 28. I've had no additional issues or bank transfer fees. Thx

Well I think they should of said something...that they are no longer accepting USD and will only accept Bitcoin. That is a crappy way of doing business. At least other services tell you up front or let you know that they are going to BTC. This really gets me angry. I know they don't give a crap about the people using their service just as long as they can pay.:mad::mad::mad:
