Quite frankly, they were essentially such a niche player that, certainly in the USA, this is no loss if they had a market share in the low single digits. It appears to have been a thing for "techies" here only. I would bet 9 out of 10 people here never heard of them. I gather their market was China and India, but even that is insignificant. I would, however, say that it is at least a loss of innovation and competitiveness in a market where most are just happy to shop and say, 'Gimme that.' I get it.

They are sticking to their massive India market.
But I don't know what to do.
OnePlus is part of Oppo mobile.

And one of the OnePlus developers moved to make the Nothing phone.

But both Oppo and Nothing mobile are nowhere near compared to the actual OnePlus phones in recharging speed or camera quality.

I'm really puzzled about it.

I spent the entire morning fighting with AI to try to tell me if there is anything better out there, and there isn't really.

There is no 100% alternative for the OnePlus.

Between the Oppo and the Xiaomi and Nothing phones, I literally have to sacrifice a feature that I'm used to in order to move on to these phones.

In my opinion, the normal Oppo for right now is still the closest one, but I'm still losing some other features.

I spent the entire morning today trying to find a phone, and my unfortunate decision has been to stick with OnePlus even if it's overseas. I really don't have any other good solution for now.
This is really the worst fucking thing that ever have happened for my oneplus

Personally, and this is just me, everything we have is Apple; before there was a OnePlus. We have computers, iPads, watches, AirPods, Apple TV, and phones. However, I have been aware of OnePlus all the while. Depending on how you use it, it's arguably a better phone in many ways, including price. I buy everything directly from Apple. But I would bet as many as three out of four people buy their phones from their carrier, and that's how Apple and Samsung win out, at least in the USA. Unfortunately, OnePlus was obviously not profitable here or in the UK, and raising prices to try and compete would just lose market share. It's rather a shame. Competition is good.
