on tivimate, how do you record movies in the movies section? on regular tv channels section you can hi-light the channel and hold the OK button to bring up the record option but it doesnt do that in the movies section.

you'll want to format the hdd in ntfs. I had mine in exfat or fat32 and wouldnt record all of the shows.

reformatting to NTFS did the trick. thanks

ok. so I just looked at the recordings from the hdd on my iMac and each recording is 4.29gigs. so do I need to reformat the hdd to ntfs ?

I have a network HDD that I use to save recordings from tivimate. I plugged the usb hdd into my iMac and I can see the recordings and play on my Mac. They are a mpeg2 format.

I have tivimate setup and I have an external hdd connected to my router for network storage. I have it formatted to Fat32 and tivimate recording is pointed to the network drive. I have already recorded about 5 shows/movies to it but they don't record the whole show. Each movie/show stops around...
