It looks like you replicated the issue. It could be wifi vs LAN as you suggested. Looks like I'll have to leave my Win 10 PC turned on. Do you know how to contact the TiViMate author? They might be interested in this issue. Thanks once again for your activities and replies.

Thanks for your reply Ed. Let me know what you find out if you retry. I actually had to enable SMB1 on the Computer for TiViMate to record to the windows 10 share. (Read that in a forum somewhere).

Hi Ed. Yes. No issues writing to the drives from a Windows 10 PC. I have also successfully created folders from within the Fire Stick X-Plore app. So it appears it's not a permissions issue.
