XCIPTV ON NEW FIRESTICK LITE

Loaded xciptv never had a problem before. It loads fine and works but the icon for it is greyed out on the home screen even tho the icon shows in the apps. I believe you can alter the apk to resolve this.
Anyone any ideas please
 
Usually using a custom launcher is a quick fix for this. Try ATV Launcher Pro. It also gets rid of Amazon’s big ads at the top of the homepage. You will just see tiles of your apps instead.

Try this:
Go to settings..My Account..Sync Amazon Content. Then go to Applications..AppStore..turn off Automatic Updates. Then go back and click Manage Installed Applications..AppStore..and Force Stop and clear data..clear cache. Then reboot your Firestick. See if when it loads again..if the icon is now there. If not..Sync Amazon content again.
