Press back to minimize on Nvidia Shield!!!

How can I enable pressing back to close Kodi to the background on the Nvidia Shield? This works on SPMC and MRMC but I don't know how to enable it on Kodi. It is hard to use Kodi on the Shield with a TV remote if I can't simply press back to get to the home screen. I really wish SPMC was still being developed. It worked so much better than Kodi. 55 printing low cost color copies

Kodi has no option to enable this
You need to press home on your Nvidia shield or press close form Kodi to get out of Kodi

Unfortunately spmc no longer supported or developed.

If you want you can take the code of Kodi and make a new version your self

But that's a loot of work for pressing the back button when you can just press the button to exit. But it's your choice
