I get the following message a lot on Tivimate. Does anybody know what it means, what causes it, and how to fix it?

Your service provider may have changed server urls. Try putting in a support ticket to them.
 
I've had 4 different providers in the last 8 months and I've seen this message quite regularly on many different channels with every one of those services. I don't know what coauses it but I continue to see it very often. (the 'parser exception' and error #403)
 
Reading a little more about it, the opinions range from VPN to video format to VPN to open with external player. Sorry there doesn't seem to be one clear solution except for normal maintenance performed regularly.
