I've tested a K-19 fork a couple of times, just to see it function. I saw no potential benefit for us as we all use the product, so anyone who "upgrades" will only be wasting their time having to reinstall 18.9 - I don't think it signals the end of the Kodi community as we know it. There's no reason why we cannot go on indefinitely with 18.xx and survive nicely.

Maybe. But what about add-ons the depend on Kodi original add-ons and those will ask for python latest edition. This might be a problem for that
