IPTV App Reccommendation

Offline
Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'm looking for advice.

I'm currently using TiviMate Premium, but I'm not too thrilled with it. I'm looking for a different, stable IPTV app with a similar Guide. It should also have a DVR function and Favorites. If possible, rewind/forward functions would be nice.

Any recommendations?

Regards,
John

Arguably these applications are somewhat subjective. Personally, I use TiviMate and I believe it is the best of them all. If you don't like TiviMate, it's going to be hard to recommend something else. I have tried over 15 different apps and the only other two perhaps in its class but IMO not as good would be OTT Navigator and IM Player with respect to features. Don't get me wrong, I still use Smarters at times to just grab and go and I think it works just fine in its simple way. It's the highly 'branded' app that many services offer so people know it well. But there's a whole bunch of apps like IPTV Pro, XCIPTV, Smart IPTV, Perfect Player, that some people get used to and like are just not for me and don't have the features the choice players have. TiviMate is the top choice.

this is not an easy conversation to have.. Just like @MikeFL pointed out. Tivimate is great app. and not many have the same features.
However weather you have a good app or best app.. It is not the issue that you are talking about here.

I think the question should be. Is your IPTV company Stable.. Now that's the real question.. because you can pick any app and if the IPTV company does not have good sources then you will end up with buffering and cutting and all sort ..
then the problem is not the IPTV player ( so not Tivimate ) but the problem is your IPTV company provider.

Once again it is hard to confirm this. but can be sorted if we know more about what you are using

( Please don't say FREE IPTV because then no IPTV player will be good enough )

@husham alludes to a couple of things here. Because of the quality of your provider, different apps will perform better than others. So much of this selection of app falls to the provider, and how they present their sources to you. Likewise, there are a dozen apps that will perform well for that provider. The problem gets back to your needs for features, and this is where the subjectivity comes into play. The bottom line remains, you need to find an app that plays well with your provider, and then select an app that has all the "goodies" you want. That's the subjectivity part. Happy hunting!
