After Quitting Tivimate app does connection to IPTV service disconnect or is still active.

I'm asking if Tivimate keep connection to the IPTV service active after you quit out for Tivimate app. Questioning because recording in the future still works after quitting out of the app and the device is even in sleep mode.
Also want to confirm because I have a limit on the number of connection to the IPTV service and would have Tivimate installed with the IPTV service configured on more units then the IPTV limit. I would only use Tivimate app on units till my limit has been reached.
 
the connection is closed to iptv when tivimate is closed. Timer for recording is in notifications and is initiated thru that. You can only watch your sub limit no matter how many devices you have,
