    I don´t use a 16:9 display at home but instead a cinemascope screen with aspect ratio 2.35:1 and this can be a problem sometimes when subtitles in movies/TV-shows are positioned outside of the scope frame, from my experience watching movies it´s about 50/50 if the subtitles are inside or outside...
