Well, here in Brazil I think this idea is still controversial, and maybe some old players would find it outrageous, but I know it is common around the internet, roll20, and I've seem some announcements of game masters for hiring. The thing is: I'm thinking about doing that here. Many people here do want to play but they can't find a game master, or a regular group. The most common event here is join a group, create the characters, talk about the history, play a little intro and then BAM! everyone vanishes https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/. What I want to sell is real role-playing game action, with regular sessions, worth-the-money adventures, and the flexibility of game time, I will always be available onschedule time, and paying for it gives the insurance everyone will come.
