How do I stop streaming of a program?

I am a noobie of Tivimate. I have it up and running and working with a IPTV provider. After beginning to watch a channel, I want to quit and do something else. The channel that I was watching seems to continue indefinitely. I want to stop the playback (stream) when I am finished with the channel. Otherwise, I am using up my download quota from my internet provider. So, how do I stop the streaming?

Long press the back button will stop tivimate. Hitting the home button also stops tivimate, pressing escape then the back button will show the side menu with power button. When you press the settings button on the remote a menu should show on the bottom of the screen., one of the choices is exit, this will do it too
